POLYPROPYLENE MESH

Polypropylene Mesh for surgical and medical device applications, including hernia mesh, urinary incontinence slings and pelvic organ prolapse suspenders. Our Polypropylene Knitted Mesh (PPKM) fabrics are comprised of monofilament yarns engineered for the manufacture of textile fabrics. The polymer and manufacturing processes utilized produce fabrics with properties well suited for the manufacture of medical devices.
The PPKM family of fabrics offered range in filament diameter from 0.08 mm to 0.20 mm, pore sizes from about 0.8 mm to 3.0 mm, and weights from 25 to 100 gsm. Our family of PPKM fabrics are available for immediate delivery. PPKM fabrics are 34 centimeters wide and offered in convenient roll lengths.
We are actively developing new designs to meet the growing needs and trends in the biomedical field, so visit us periodically to keep abreast of our new offerings.
Review the Processing Considerations for our mesh fabrics.
POLYPROPYLENE MESH FABRICS CANNOT BE GAMMA IRRADIATED! USE ONLY AN APPROVED METHOD FOR STERILIZATION, SUCH AS ETHYLENE OXIDE (EtO) OR STEAM AUTOCLAVE.
MESH FABRICS CONVERTED INTO FINISHED MEDICAL DEVICES MUST UNDERGO A FINAL CLEANING STEP THROUGH A CUSTOMER APPROVED PROCESS.
ISO-10993 Biocompatibility results for Polypropylene Mesh are available to our customers upon request.
