The polyester multifilament yarns are manufactured to very high standards and are available in flat and textured forms. The yarns can be used with confidence to replace Dacron® Polyester yarns, including Types 56 and 55A, which have been used in the manufacture of textile-based biomedical and medical devices for many decades. The yarns are well suited for the manufacture of vascular grafts, endovascular grafts, cardiovascular fabrics, heart valve sewing cuffs, braided sutures, surgical meshes, umbilical tape and any other critical applications requiring consistent properties and reliable supply.
